PlayScore does not support guitar tab. Tab music will not play at all in PlayScore, however some music contains music notation and tab combined. This hybrid music consists of a staff of notation joined to a staff of tablature, usually printed underneath. This music may play but only poorly, as the tab interferes with PlayScore music parser.
However the app will often play this kind of score if the tab part is covered up using PlayScore masking feature. To do this draw a mask over each tab staff, being careful not to cover up any of the music. We don’t guarantee this but in practice it often works.
