PlayScore subscriptions are sold separately by Google, Apple and Microsoft.  Each subscription applies to one platform only (Android, iOS and Windows) as these companies do not recognise each others’ subscriptions.

However, any PlayScore document you create with a subscription can be played on any device using the free PlayScore download.  Without a subscription you won’t be able to create new documents, but you will be able to play any PlayScore document, adjust tempo, create loops and use the count-in/metronome.

For example you can have a subscription on your phone or tablet where you create new documents.  Then you can email those documents to your Windows computer where you can play the music taking advantage of better audio and a bigger screen.  You won’t need a subscription on the Windows PC as the free PlayScore download will always play any document, created by you or by anyone else

PlayScore documents are completely portable between devices.  Any document can be opened on any platform, with or without a subscription.  But note that the documents you see on the Documents screen on iOS and Android, or under Windows are not synced between devices.  There is no central place your documents are held, and no central server.  Your documents live on the device where they were created or where they were imported.  You can always export your documents or email them to yourself on another device but this does not happen automatically.
